Walnut Wedding Table

The story behind this table made it such a pleasure to create! The top is crafted out of some wild, somewhat rotten walnut. The rot spots and gaps are filled with translucent green, blue, and copper tinted epoxies, symbolizing redemption. The bowtie joints are crafted out of maple and symbolize the gifts of adopting a new family. The walnut base features hand cut joinery for ultimate stability and durability.

This wild walnut table was given as a gift by a bride to her husband on their wedding day. It served as their wedding communion table during the wedding itself!
