Epoxy and Cherry Wooden Picture Frame
This interesting frame is crafted out of a rotten piece of cherry. It is stabilized with hot pink, emerald green, turquoise, and orange epoxy resins to add a fun detail.
Turning trash into treasure is one of my most favorite things to do as an artist. When my granddaddy died, he left his wood shop to me. Inside, I found this sweet sign that has become somewhat of a mantra for me. It has traveled with me for years, and has been quite weathered in the process. I felt a deep need to preserve the sign in a way that added to it and honored it all at the same time, thus this crazy frame was born!
